A slow studio for being seen.

Studio Graef is a photography and film studio between Lisbon and Bali. We work with coaches, healers, retreat leaders and musicians whose work comes from the same place.

Our way of working is simple. We plan every shoot together, so the day itself can be slow. The first one to two hours are for arriving: getting used to the camera until the practised smile falls away and your natural face comes through.

We see this as a practice more than a photoshoot. Letting yourself be seen, and showing yourself to the world as you are, takes courage. We hold space for that, and then we photograph what's real.

Behind the studio is more than ten years of photographing people across many countries, and music videos for artists like Reachel Singh and Jack Weaver.
