Retreat photography in Portugal and Bali.

A retreat holds moments people would never share with a stranger. So we don't arrive as strangers. We join the meals, learn names and stay at the edge of the room.

Before the first photo

We go through your programme together and mark every moment that stays off camera. Guests who would rather not be photographed wear a coloured band, and we check every image against it. During practice there is no flash, the shutter is silent, and we work from the side with long lenses. You approve the final selection before anything goes to guests or online.

What you receive

The venue in its best light. The practice: yoga, breath, sound, circles. The people: you teaching, guests together, a group portrait on the last day. And the land from above: drone footage of the venue and its surroundings, where local rules allow. Fifteen to twenty images within 48 hours for posting during the retreat, and the full gallery within two weeks.

Where

In Portugal: Sintra, Ericeira, Comporta, the Alentejo and the Algarve. In Bali: Ubud, Sidemen, Canggu, Uluwatu and Amed. Bali dates go first, so write as soon as yours are set.
